Need new tires....need suggestions. Ideas?

The Continental ContiPro Contact SSR runflat's on my 03 MCS with S-lite wheels are just about worn out. I want to get a new set of tires, and I would like to go with standard tires not the harsh riding runflats.

The tires are 205/45/17's, but I thinking about going to a slightly wider 215/45/17 like most people seem to be running. I do 90% highway driving, and 10% twisty road driving...no track time at all. I would like a tire that rides good, but still has good grip, and last a long time.

Also, I don't want to spend a ton of money on tires...but I don't want to buy junk either.

What tires would you suggest? I've been looking around and there are a ton out out. I've heard that the Hankook Vetus tires are good, or maybe the Yohohama S. Drives?

Lots of us run Continental DWS 215-45 17 and love them. Just give them sometime to heat cycle for the handling to improve. They are awesome in bad weather.

I just got the 205/45/17 DWS installed this week and they are a big improvement over the run flats I had on the car. The ride is much better IMO (much smoother) and so far so good in the snow. I was quoted $170+tax each at Tires Plus, but was able to get them for about $135 each shipped (no tax) from the tirerack.com and had them shipped to Tires Plus. They mounted/balanced and installed them for $75.

Yoko AD08 for the track and Yoko Envigor for the highway. Not a bad combination.
