215/50R17 on an R53?

I picked up a used R53 last spring, and as I live in a very snowy climate it is now time for me to put winter tires on. I found a great local deal for a set of 215/50R17 winter tires. These are a little taller than my current 215/45R17s and are about 1.25" larger in diameter than the stock tires. I've searched NAM and mini2 but I've not been able to find anyone actually running these tires on an R53.

I have the stock rims and suspension, should I expect any problems or rubbing?

It is usually recommended to go with a narrower tire for better bite in the snow.

Depending on the setup, I do think you may find some rubbing with that tire

I think a tire THAT TALL would rub?
