225/45/15 on R53

Hi
Any problems running 225/45/15's on an R53?
Feels like it should be an awesome track/autox size.

For track and autocross you can easily use them plus-

205/50-15
225/50-15

Use a 15x7 or up to 15x8 rim but in the back depending on offset you might need a thin spacer to clear the lower rear trailing arm.

Since the 225/45-15 is very small diameter vs stock tires you get lowered center of gravity and sometimes some risk of scraping.

Most 225/45-15 are not well suited for driving on the street. You can haul your track wheels and tires in your MINI easily and put them on at the event.
