Help: Need Rims With Concave Look That Fit Mini's

Hi,
Can someone help me find some deep concave looking rims that will fit a mini? In particular, the ones shown below.

I know about the rims below and uffing love them, but don't know if they will fit my mini.

XXR 522, Volk TE37, Rota IK-R, SSR Type-C

I'm also aware that we wider the rim the deeper the concave you can get & the closer the offset number is to (0) zero, the deeper the concave. I just don't know what the maximum offset look i can get is, without having to add some wider fenders or do any serious body work. I just want a plug-n-play option.

- Does someone out there have them installed on their car?
- If so post some pics up along with ur specs so we can see them.

many thanks!

I've shown these rims installed on small cars hoping they can fit the mini too ::crossing fingers:: i hope someone out there has been able to get the deep concave look on a mini.

That is quite the juxtaposition of wheels you are selecting from, they range from high end forged Volk's and SSR Type C to low end rung XXR 522 and Rota IK-R. In other words from $2,400 to $400 a set of wheels.

But most importantly to determine fitment is which model and year MINI you have?

sorry, i know the range is super drastic, but i guess what i'm going for is the aesthetic of the concave rim. Once i see what options there are then i can make my decision. Thanks for your input though, i didn't know the volks and ssr's were going to run me that high!

btw i have a 2009 mini cooper, base, not "s". wanting to switch it for an "s" someday.

I could be way off, but just thinking that the minimum ET is around 35(?).

I personally like the Breyton GTS-Rs for the MINI 4x100 bolt pattern. I believe that they are fairly "plug-n-play".

Theres a whole thread of people with them:HERE

I wish there was a 17x7.5 wheel out there with a little concavity that would fit...but wheels ive seen to fit plug and play are flat faced, this car looks sick, little concavity, litte dish

Well, having 4x100 is restrictive, but there's still some options....
But the key to obtaining a true concave wheel is having a wide wheel and a low offset combination.

cesar418, any more detail on the 5-lug bolt conversion on the R56 above?

Those are 17x9 et25~ up front and 17x9.5 et30~ in back and you'll notice they aren't 4 lug. Not exactly an off the rack option. Also they are really concave. They do have a decent lip though.

My Rotiforms are slightly concave:

17x8 et30

AXO, how wider are your rear rims? 8? 8.5?

i can't believe that in cesar418's post, someone was able to get a 9 & 9.5 to fit...unreal.

all these rides are looking pretty aggressive, nice!

Spacers and a little Dremel work on the wheel wells and fender trim make all the difference. Good news is 2nd Gen MINI offers the most room and with base MINI you don't have to worry about pesky brake calipers and rotors getting in the way.

Deep dish is very hard to do on Mini with it's higher offsets, unless you accept a high degree of poke as above.

Exactly. MINI just don't have the dimensional space for deep concave wheels. It's just a dimension thing of being a compact car. Which the engine, the offset can only be so much inward.
