How much bigger are the StopTech calipers than JCW?

Ok, I know I know. I just posted something about caliper sizing before. But that was for StopTech vs. Brembo and I was worried that no one would look back in for this as it would still have the other title...

Again, I'm purchasing wheels. These wheels have been said to clear the JCW brakes. I have the StopTech's. How much bigger are the StopTech's than the JCW's? I'm talking PHYSICAL size. Need to figure out if these will work without a spacer (even though I will run them with a spacer).

Thank you friends!

you can get a pdf file from stoptech that you print out and cut out that shows all dimensions of the caliper. I glued mine to a file folder and made a template to check clearances. The lack of clearance on a lot of 17s is why i went with a smaller albeit lighter wilwood setup. I do miss my stoptechs though the bite is amazing.

I have the StopTechs on my car right now. I am considering buying a wheel that is said to clear the JCW brakes. I wanted to see if the S.T.'s would cause any problems with the same wheel before I spend the money and bought them...

Thats what I'm saying. You can get all the specs from stoptech and then call your rim company and get their specs. It's easy math. You'll clear 17s OD but your offset may need to be adjusted to compensate for your wider caliper. I threw the template out when I sold my STs
