I was wondering, for those of you who have done this, do you just take your chances with no spare? I have AAA roadside assistance, and of course mini road side assistance in the event I pickup a nail. I know you can buy those cans of air, that temporarily patches the tire also, just to get you home and until you can get a new tire. Will those work?
I would love to go non run flats for the benefits of better ride and handling, and the price difference is huge. I see on tirerack.com, hankook ventus 205 45 17 for 81.00 each, and if you buy 4, 60.00 rebate. That is 66.00 per tire. Dirt cheap!. But, are they good tires is the question. I have the dunlop sport01 runflats, which are 336.00 apiece on tirerack. That hurts to replace all 4, of which I have to do soon. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
