knockoff jcw 113

http://cgi.ebay.ca/MINI-COOPER-SUMME...item27a7d4f488

I found these wheels for 600 dollars
But when I called they said they were not oem
The only difference I can find is the offset at 40

What is the oem offset
what will the diff be on the car with an offest of 40
Thanks

Stock is 48 mm offset, so those will move the wheels out by 8 mm. Probably enough to mount 215's on.

I think we need clarification here. MINI Laval (in Quebec, Canada) is selling the real OEM wheels with tires as a summer package for $2,800.00

You found replicas elsewhere for $600.00 right?

The dealership would not sell fake rims.

wont affect much at all. moves em out closer to wheel trim, but a et40 w a 7" wide wheel is nothing big

And on the ebay listing you posted, they are et52 if they are OEM , NOT 40...thats the tire aspect ratio

Will they work with coilovers??...depends on the coilover... your more likely to hit the spring perch with not enough offset, but those et40's should be just fine even with the larger bodied coilovers

PS id remove the link in your first post... everyone is being confused since they are real oem et52s

stock is 48. It moves your wheels out by 8mm.

Wider stance, more roll resistance, better weight transfer, faster cornering. if they don't rub. Modern wheel bearings are strong enough the off balance weight should not be an issue. It moves the front center scrub radius, so it will effect steering feel. I would not worry about that either.

Can't tell you more without mounting them on a car!
