Wheel color help

I have MCS currently the wheel are gloss black. I am looking to change it up lowering the car next weekend and wanted help with a wheel color. I was thinking gold.... Any one handy with photoshop? Can you make the wheels gold do I have an idea?
: Purchasing a 03 Cooper S what do I look for.... Need to make a decision by Sat.

meh, if they werent stock wheels id say go for it, but gold tends to look best with skinny spokes. Ill try and see if I have time later today for some PS'ing

I didn't do a photochop, I just headed to TireRack & put some gold rims on your ride.

I don't think I would like gold at all. Stick with shades of silver/black/gray. maybe bronze-ish.

edit: blue also.

That pic looks good... I wondering how the stocks will look in gold? Any pic of the stock wheel painted gold?

Not the stock wheels... but these ones look more similar to the stock than the others.

My wife wants pepper white S-Lites for her Pepper WHite/Black '06 MCSa. I've never seen pepper white wheels on a MINI before - anyone know if it's been done, and can be color-matched with powdercoating? (I've never had anything powdercoated before...)

Those wheels, I haz them in white! They are sexy time. When I get home i will post a couple of pics.

With your white roof and mirror covers, I would go with a white wheel.
But with white, I wouldn't go more than a 6 spoke or it gets too "ricey"

I don't like that shade of gold.. Looks like Mr. T's gold plating. Lmao maybe I will stick to gloss black
