Need help Picking new Rims!!!

Hi I have a dark gray mini with black bonnet stripes type S, year 2009, and I want to change the rims badly and i really need some suggestions.. I was thinking 18 inch rims with a lot of spokes or mesh or something. Anything that would look professional and nice.

-Thanks in advance

It's all a matter of personal taste but a buddy of mine just put a set of Drag DR-34's on his and they look great. You can look at them on www.tirerack.com They're very similar to some of the JCW wheels that MINI offers. He got the Black wheels with the red stripe. He had difficulty deciding on the stripe but it looks really good with the red S on the side schute and the rear side-marker brings it out...ties in well. Good luck. Post some pics when you decide.

MMM 18s to big for my taste but I do like my OZ Alleggritas. Antracite wheels or maybe black would be a good desicion for you or just get some wild color. But go for lightweight for performance reasons.

Wow thanks guys, those are all great, ill keep looking.

My budget is probably under 1800 and i dont think my parents would let me lower the suspension, so i think the rims would have to look really good to cover for that. But hey i might get to lower it later on =]

I really like the Enkei PF01 17x7 with et38. Light weight and decent looking. Got mine from Alex@tirerack.com. There are two different offsets so you can choose how much you want them to stick out.

Linea Corse LM replicas loooook goooooooooooooood

MachVDan has some shots on his DS.

Those 2 your mentioned are not really in the "professional and nice" that i was thinking of but id pick Rota outta the two.
They are more in the race / competition look

You could do something unique like these...

custom Kodiak three-piece forged wheels. 17 x 8 et40. Only two sets ever made for a MINI. I have both sets for sale.

****, with a budget of $1,800 you could almost afford those + a set of vmaxx coilovers.

How would the Rota replica's be different from the original? Do they break easy?

They're cheaper but larger. You can't get LMs in 18" in 4x100. They also only come in one size/offset.

Hey, NikePro!
Though we have not yet received our new MINI, my wife is ordering (this week) a 2010 S Dark Silver and has chosen the BREYTON GTS-R MINI 17" in silver. Also from TireRack (apparently the only US distributor of BREYTON) they look great. May want to take a look at those as well.
