15mm Spacers - Yes or No?

I've been admiring a set of 17" Rota RB wheels for my '09 JCW. I like the retro look, especially in Royal Gray. The information that I have received indicates that they will require 15mm spacers on the front to allow clearance for the JCW Brake Calipers.

Is anyone running 15mm spacers on the front? It seems to me that this set-up could spell disaster for wheel bearings, front hubs and CV joints. Please give me some feedback.

I wouldnt worry about running 15mm spacers, thats not big at all. I know people running 30mm spacers.

Just make sure you get hub centric spacers and dont forget longer lugs.

If the car is used mainly for street 15 mm spacers are fine. Just be careful if you want to track it.

I'm considering the same thing...just wondering if you got the Rotas and what you think about them, the fitment, spacers, etc. Oh, and did you have to put longer lugs on it as well?

I've been running 16mm spacers all the way around for several months now on my '07 MCS...no problems yet. I searched forums when I was thinking about ordering the spacers for my car with the same question....never found anyone who said they had premature wheel bearing problems.
