Just wondering, If i 'm going to switch them to normal tires by 215/45/17 do I have to do anything if i switch to normal tires? any recommend ? Nedd help!

 

IMHO, there's more posts on this subject than beautiful ladies in MINI's. Search the threads, there's lots of factors to consider in tire selection. I didn't do the actual math, but I think at least 85% of NAM posters, including me, will suggest "ditch the RF's". If you go that route I would suggest the $20 Slime kit, a cell phone, and AAA membership for peace of mind.

Yes! Run flat tires have side walls like cement, so be sure to either have the MINI dealer do the tire swap for ya, or that a reputable tire company who has and CAN DO runflat tires.

More often than not MINI OEM rims are chewed up and destroyed by regular tire techs and tire changers who lack the experience and / or tire machines with bad ducks.

Be sure to point out to the manager what if any damage you have to your rims before they touch them... I would even go so far as to take some pics of the rims before hand.
