MINI '05 Brake Sensor Indicator

I have replaced both front and rear sensors but the light is still on. I have tried holding the flat tire reset and leaving the key in the run position for 1 full minute. The brake sensor indicator is still on. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks for your time.

the sensor reset proceedure is:

turn the ignition key to the #2 position for around 30 seconds without turning over the engine...the light goes out

If you did this and the sensors are new then one of two things would seem to be possible to have the car still see the 'open circuit' which is the result of a worn sensor

1. One of the sensors is bad

2. One of the sensors didn't get plugged in correctly
