8x18s on R53

8x18s on R53
As the title really. Anyone got 8x18s fitted to an R53? Did they go on without too much hassle and will it still allow a reasonable drop? Looking for some nice fat rimmage. 17's look too small for me and 7's just dont offer the girth i'm looking for.

there is a whole thread on this subject with lots of info to help you guys out 
... need a little digging though. I ran 225/35 on my 18x8 and it was perfect... not too much meat and not too little. BTW, it is the closest size to stock profile, so your odometer will not vary. and yes, mine is lowered on springs and no rubbing
