What happened to 205/45-17 All-Season Tire Selection???
With winter approaching, I need to take of my summer tires and put some tires capable of handling nasty weather on my MINI. I was thinking of putting on all-season tires in hopes of gaining some performance over straight-up snow tires. I tried a search for 205/45-17 all-season tires (they don't have to be run-flats) and only turned up one tire that cost $218!!!
I recall there being better all season selection for this size! Or was I dreaming???

Buy some used take-off tires from a member here or from a dealership. That will be WAY less expensive.
At the going price for new tires in your fitment, you'd be better off getting a brand new set of 15" or 16" steelies with REAL snow tires.

This is the other option I was considering.
