My new rims...
My new rims...
Ok maybe not new but newly painted......I've had the ASA R1's for a while and actually put them up for sale thinking I was going to get new ones.....well with the state of the economy I decided to keep them. I still wanted a new look so I decided to paint them. I was first thinking of going flat black, hyper silver..........but then decided to go with classic gold and since the ASA's are a classic design I think they look good. I learned a lot painting the first wheel....actually made it harder than it should have been
. The remaining wheels should go a lot faster.
What do you guys think?

Nice work! Those are certainly more difficult than most, due to having all the surface area on the inside edges of the spokes as well as removing and reinstalling the bolts. Looking forward to seeing the finished job on the car as well!
Finally got them painted and on the car........
