I have an astro black 06 MCS with a build date of 09/05. I have the opportunity to buy some anthracite BBS R90 rims. I am curious if they will be a direct bolt on to my car. I know they made the R90's for both 12mm and 14mm lugs. However, I had the seller measure the lug holes of the wheels before we finalize the transaction and it shows 16mm. Does this make any sense?

 

If you're using the stock bolts to secure the wheel I'd expect the wheel seat to accept the taper of the lug bolt from the M14 part with ease. The M12 fitting may be a bit sketchy however. Pull an M12 bolt from a car and see what the taper is to fitting the wheel.
