38 PSI for MCS tires?
Boxcars, Try changing the psi between 32 psi and 38 psi cold, each time taking the car for a ride on the same circuit. You will quickly settle on the psi you like given the tradeoffs, I finally settled at 37 psi, non RFT.
Still don't like 32 psi on 17", 215/45. The turn in just feel a little sloppy for me.

slinger,
good idea.
would like to run to the slightly higher end as i live in pothole , california.
just lowered, and have appt for alignment, so i'll experiment after that,

Update: I started this thread and read all the advice in it both pro and con for running at 38 PSI. I decided to experiment a bit and lowered my tire pressure to 36 PSI. I have light Ultraleggera racing wheels (16 lbs each) and non-runflat tires.
I like it a lot - the car is so much better behaved now and handles a LOT better - no more skipping on tight corners. I don't track my car, but I like to drive fairly aggressively.
I read some of the feedback that said that keeping my tire pressure a bit lower than 38 PSI might reduce tire tread life a bit. I think that I am OK with that - it is a lot nicer driving experience now.
I may try raising it to 37 PSI to see if that is still acceptable - but for my driving pattern (alone in the car 95% of the time), 36 PSI feels really good.
Thanks for all the advice.
