Can steel rims be had for cheap for the R56? I'm thinking ahead towards winter.

Just with a fast check I did not find any 15" or 16" steel wheels for
a 2008 R56 MCS.

But if you look at possible cheap 15" alloy wheels you can find-
15 styles from $99 each. Motegi Racing SX5 in silver or black with machined lip 15x6.5" and 195/60-15 winter tires.

Or if you look at 16" wheels then-
35 styles from $62 each using 195/55-16 winter tires

Even 17" wheels from $99 each. Use 205/45-17 winter tires.

As of last winter, there were no steel wheels available for the R56 MCS.

 

jeeze, I'd hate to spend that kind of money on wheels that will be pitted and trashed from the salt and cinder. But the good news is, with the global warming, we shouldn't get much snow anymore ever again
