Replacing run flats for regular tires

I currently have an 07 mini S with run flats. In the past two months, I had to replace two run flat tires. I am currently looking at getting regular tires all around. I am looking for an all season high performance tire. Any recommendations? Thanks

Tires

It depends on the kind of weather you have on your city.
I changed my MCS2002 tires ( Pirelli Eufori@) for Kumho's Ecsta , first change the front and replace them with runflats, however I bought a spare tire ( small ) put it on the trunk and then bought 2 regular Ecsta. I had Kumho's in other vehicle and worked great. Also I can recommend the Bridgestone Potenza ($$$).
Just be sure to carry a flat tire kit or buy a spare (small) if you will change to regular.
Hope this helps.

What is your suspension? Stock? Any ideas of lowering?

What wheels do you have? 16 or 17"?

You can replace all four runflats with non runflats easily.

You can search for- "all season" and 205/50-16 if you have 16" wheels and 205/45-17 or 215/45-17 if you have 17" wheels.

These sizes will fit stock suspension.

All Season tires are better wearing, give good enough handling and can be used in colder weather or some snow. If you have heavy snow then winter tires are in order.

For the MCS an Ultra High Performance All Season makes sense but does usually cost more.

If you only do street driving and nothing on the track or at driving school then High Performance All Season can work too.

For 16" wheels and more comfort/longer treadwear a Grand Touring All Season is worth considering.

I'm been running Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seaons on an '04 MCS w/17" S-Lites for about 10 months. Good traction in rain, snow and on dry pavement. Been very happy with them so far.

Did you also notice improved turn-ins, steer response, and lesser understeer?
