Can you buy TPMS?

I have a second set of wheels for my 08 MCS. I could swap out the sensors from my crown spoke OEM wheels but would like to get a set for the new rims with non run-flats so that my TPMS light will not be on all the time. If they are available, where? and how expensive? Or should I just live with the TPMS light on. Thanks!

I just Googled tpms. There were several hits including this.

I've also seen them on the site of one of the vendors that advertises here (but I couldn't find it when I looked quickly).

Have you checked with your wheel dealer?

Your MINI dealer sells them. They are around $200 for 4.

Forget all those places. PM or call Alex at Tirerack (contact info should be in one of the stickies). $184 for all 4 sensors & all 4 valve stems. Figure about $10 shipping and you have everything you need for less then $200; not to mention ridiculously fast shipping

Make sure you ask for adapters as well (for your aftermarket wheels).

The wheels are MINI OEM R99's. I wouldn't need and adapter for them would I?

I just installed the JCW R105 rims and tires on my 07 MCS and used my TPMS from my 17" Crown spokes. I resetted the TPM and everything is fine. You don't need to buy another set of them unless you are using both sets of wheels.
