Steering Angle Stop - required?

I just got 18" JCW black wheels for my 04 MCS. Morristown said I needed the steering angle stop kit -- I ordered it, but it didn't come with instructions to install....anyone have a how to? Is it necessary? My MCS is at factory height. The wheels came with factory tires mounted...Thanks for the help.

What size are the tires? What is the width on the wheels?

I have 18" aftermarket wheels with 215/35/18 tires and no wheel stop, and I'm not rubbing. I know other people here are running the same setup. I'm not sure if it makes a difference that I have H&R sport springs...
