06 MCS on stock suspension, currently running 16 inch X-lites. Looking at a 17x7.5 wheel with 45mm offset running 215/45R17 tires. Will this work or should I be looking at an offset closer to 40?

Should fit no rubbing. Stock size is 17x7 with +48mm offset

Don't lower due to tall tire diameter and minimal offset (less clearance than stock).

You can also run stock 205/45-17 size with no problems
