BBS RD

Offset: 38mm
Bolt Pattern: 4-100 Rec.
Tire Size: 205/45-17 **
Lightweight: 20.3l

I'm thinking about getting these wheels second hand. On the tire rack site it says that they wheels will come with the following at no charge.

(16) Required lugbolt for vehicle
(4) Required centering ring
(4) SMALL CLIP FOR BBS RINGS +

Would I need anything on the above list or can I just bolt on the wheels ? Thanks.

What year car do you have? If you have the wheels nearby check the lug nut holes and see if they are conical or ball seats.

You will need the centering rings....but they aren't expensive at all. You can order them online or pick them up at your local wheel/tire shop. Our hub bore is 56.1mm so you need to get a ring that will convert from it's current size down to our size.

I'm not sure on what the BBS clip is. My guess is that it deals with the centercap and would be coming with the used set.

I have a 2005 S, The wheels were on a 2006 Cooper. I believe the wheels originaly belonged to NAM Vendor
namotorsports, and were sold to minicloud06 . This was the original AD :

17" BBS RD Rims with Yokoham AVS ES-100 Tires - I'm asking $800 plus shipping - This rim and tire package retails on Tirerack for $1344.00 plus shipping. That's over $400 in savings!

These rims and tires never saw snow, only driven during the summer months. No curb damage or scuffs on the wheels. They have about 12,000 -15,000 miles on them.

Specs:
-17x7 BBS RD Wheels
-Bolt Pattern 4x100, Offset 38mm
-205/45ZR17 Yokohama AVS ES100 Tires

Includes the following:
-Lug Nuts
-Center Caps

You will need new:
-Hubcentric Rings (For those of you interested, you will need new Mini specific hubcentric rings. Those shouldn't be more than $20.00!)

Sounds like the only thing you will need will be the hubcentric rings.

Unless the seat of the lug hole looks to be a ball seat, your current lugnuts should be fine.

Does anyone out there have these wheels and can show me pictures on your car. The wheels are on the way so I cant check to see if the mini lugnuts will work. Thanks.

What about them don't you think will work? My BBS couldn't use the stock lugs....but I think that's only because they are super old and came OEM on a car that used ball seat lugs.

I used gorilla lugs for a while without any problems. The chrome finish gets a little ugly after a while...so you may want to consider the black ones.
