upgrade front brake system

Hi, All !!

I want to upgrade my front brake system, and I got some choices, like AP-

Racing, Wilwood, Alcon...

Which brand would you recommend ? If you don't have the budget limit.

The TarOx BBK system would be the uber upgrade!

You can purchase the 10 piston configuration for the Mini here:

Here is the full kit with 10 piston fronts, rear rotors, pads, fluid.

Check out what TCE offers as well. The Wilwood kits offer some incredible performance as well. Don't forget Texas Speedwerks too.

Then again, is this for bling or are you going to track the car?

It depends on what wheels you are running as well. It looks like the TarOx needs at least 18". The TSWs will fit under some 16" wheels, I believe.

The tarox 10/6 piston from promini only needs 17 inch wheels (318 mm diameter rotors). I've poked around tarox for a bit and you can definitely order any size brake job under the sun from them... ($$$)

As the most common Wilwood referenced vendor, I must mention that shipping costs may play a roll in you decision. I dug around a bit and I think you are in the UK. If that is so you can factor about $250-300 in shipping costs if a kit is purchased here in the USA and sent to you. While I'd be happy to help it's understandable if you choose to shop a more local market where you are.
