Volk Racing ce28n or Yokohama Advan RG2?

Both sets of wheels are posted for sale here, Opinions? Both are gold but the Rays seem shinyer and golder ,maybe its just the photo lighting(sorry about the grammer) ?There are differences in offset also, so one set would stick out more than the other? Also I wonder about the hubs ,are rings needed on both or just the Yoko's? It would seem the the Rays would be better, stronger and lighter. But if don't you jump curbs or crash potholes the strength doesn't matter much? Both would fit on a 2003?

Any effect of the 2mm offset difference? The Ray's are forged so they wouldn't get damaged by potholes

My roommate has a set of the Advan's in gold on a black Subaru RS2.5 and they look amazing. They are a fairly light wheel and have a slick finish to them. I have not seen the Rays wheels but I would still vote for the Advans.

yes, with that 2mm, your car will flip over.

any wheel will bend with a big enough pothole, so dont let that "forged"
blind your vision or reality.

weird, i like CE28N... if only i got money

RG2 is nice, but its overdone, lots of people running with replicas (although the same could be said for the CE28)

It would help if people adjusted their cameras properly before posting pics of what they are trying to sell. Here's what the Volk looks like after being color-corrected to the best of my ability. It's been a while since the first post so this probably is too late.

("after" is on the left/"before" is on the right)

How can you tell if the gold is not photographed well?

How do you know? Have you seen the wheels? They were custom colored.

It doesn't matter OP. He corrected the photo as a whole. As you can see - the cardboard box looks more like the color you see in real life compared to the right... which looks like dungeon lighting

both are listed for sale in the "tires and wheels for sale" thread

I'm not selling, I'm contemplating buying.

I just searched the market place
1800 for the volks
1350 for the yokos

I like the yokos (not because of price)

I like the RG2's the best. The extra 2mm won't be much difference, but the wheels should sit a little wider which will look nice
