Who makes forged white wheels?

I love the look of my white S-Lights, but they're so heavy! I'd like to replace them with forged white wheels, but...

I've found forged wheels and I've found white wheels, but not forged white wheels. I haven't found anything using the search tool, either.

Can anybody help me? Thanks!

You might have a very limited selection of choices for both white and Forged.

You can find quite a few forged wheels- you can always get one and powdercoat it white or even paint it white.

The white finish will be more durable with a wheel that is meant to be white-
Rota (gravity cast) has white wheels
Team Dynamics (gravity cast)
Panasport
O.Z Superturismo WRC (low pressure cast, painted white)

Probably the biggest factor is that demand for white wheels is not very strong and most that have forged wheels don't ask for white.

Methods of wheel construction-

Forged are good but usually cost more. They tend to be both strong and lighter weight for a given design and size.

White forged wheels

I have 17 X 7.5 Volk forged white wheels on my S.
They weigh 15 lbs and are wearing Goodyear Eagle F-1 GS D3
215/45 - 17

There might be a picture in my gallery

Volk TE37s

this is the only one that popped into my head, as hune already pointed out, you can always pick up a set of forged wheels and then powdercoat them,

no! no! no! you never want to powdercoat forged wheels. forged wheels are heat treated and powdercoating requires baking at temps close what is considered the safe threshold. The exception is IR cured powdercoating, which is fairly rare and more expensive. You run the risk of ruining all the benefits and structural integrity of a forged wheel by effectively heat treating it again (it will lose it's strength and possibly crack easier).

another thing to consider with the thought that forged wheels are better is failure mode - a cast wheel bends....a forged one shatters.

OK, thanks. No standard powdercoating.

In this discussion they are concerned about any alloy wheel (forged or cast) being powdercoated at a temperature that would overage the metal and reduce strength. Bottomline looks like you'd do it at your own risk.

Given that, if strong white wheels are your interest then pick one that comes in white (forged or not).

What about white painted? Likely less durable. I've seen painted rims get scratched easily.
