Fellow VW convert here as well

From what I've learned, on the first gen Mini's at least, you'll need adjustable rear control arms/camber links once you go more than a slight drop (so count on getting them), as for the fronts, you'll probably want a coilover with adjustable camber or get a set of camber plates up front. The Mini's don't have as much adjustment with the camber as the VW's did but other than that it's pretty straight forward.

Wow. Those wheels are the best wheels I've ever seen on a mini. Hands down. I need more details, specs, pictures, anything!!! Those rotors....!!!! Guuuh

Those are great looking wheels. I kinda like the way the spokes terminate into a solid lip and then transition into the main part of the wheel. I bet that makes them lots easier to clean.
