well the lights i found at a local wreck yard, he didnt have the car just the lights, then i gave him 350 for the light, he had another but i had already had one from an erlier trade

so pretty cheap convertion for me on that one

the 18 inch wheels may look good but it sucks here in michigan, im on my third set of these exzact rims, since their forged and theirs less metal and since i hit every hole in the road i seem to bend more than my share ! :(

other than that their completley plug and play on 02 to 04 minis no need for rewireing

everything else just pops right on so its kinda funny how people think you have an 05 with almost 150,00 miles on it
basically im taking the best from the models and making my mini the way i want it, 02 didnt have the thumb grips in the steering wheel so i got an 04 with the thumbgrips and the door trim from an 06 as well as some other things here and their im planning to see how the 07 seats look if their cool i think ill swap those in, so my mini will be a puzzel of all years hehheheh

Are those 35s? I'm considering purchasing new rims for my V8 Miata. One of the options is to go 15x8 inch rim with 225/45 tire. The other option is to go with a 16x8 inch rim, with a 245/35 tire. I'm running 40s on my present tires and I'm constantly worried about the next pothole. With 35s it would be that much worse!.....but 245s......nice.

Well.. here they are, Axis TC Evo's in 18x7.5 with a 42 offset. I had to run a 5mm spacer on the fronts to clear the brakes... Tires are a Kumo ESCTA 215/35-18. Without bogging down this thread, click the link below for my Axis TC Evo folder in my gallery.. I initially didn't run the white (technically "reflective silver", but they look like reflective white to me) rim lip rings but I think I like it with them on.. it pulls in the white roof and stripes..

I'm debating on dropping the stripes..

Gotta be honest here: I don't like the Porsche 928 lookalike wheels. A bit too 70's and somehow reminiscent of the awful Ronal "Teddy Bear" wheels.

Thanks Tit (that doesn't sound right),

This wasn't really the direction I wanted to go.. but, it actually turned out better than I expected. I was going to powdercoat them but once I saw the gunmetal/reflective white combo, I thought I'd give it a go without the powder. I was also going to ditch the stripes.. but I kind of like those along with the white rings.. I have no idea where I'll go from here..

They're not lookalikes, they're the real deal, I'm running adapters, hence the 5 lug... and if they made the Ronal Teddy Bears in 17", I'd totally rock them
