Thought I had posted here before. These are my 17" Flik Bullets as they originally came



Within a year the paint started peeling


So I chemically stripped them


Got them powdercoated with 2 passes


They were first mounted on my R53


Then I got my R55, drilled the lug holes out to 14mm, added OEM TPMS sensors, and straightened two bent wheels and they are perfect now.

Haha thanks...and they are just 17's.

By the way, I bought some H&R Street Performance coilovers from an online local tuner shop..thinking cause he was a few miles away, I'd get it sooner, and once it arrives...find Alta on the box and the receipt inside is from you guys too! I had no idea. I love the coilovers!

Here's my new wheels and tires I just bought from Tire Rack. I temporarily left the blue protective tape as it adds a little more flavor to the wheel.

Very nice! I like the way the wheels show off those nice red calipers.

You may have to see it in person to appreciate the color combo. I feel the wheels really tie in the black and silver and chrome in together, but very subtley with the black outer rim and polished alloy spokes. Plus, the wheel design enhances the diameter of the wheel. I've already been told people thought I had 18's on.

are those anodized black or something else? Doesn't everything that is anodized black turn copperish over time?

Great looking wheels. And the shots with the graffiti - outstanding!

 

They are anodized black and possibly clear coated also to protect the finish.

No signs of copper finish on these wheels. I believe the metal copper itself is occasionally annodized in other applications.

These are constructed from T6061 aluminum, and machined prior to anodization.
