Ok. So would a 18x8.5 with et35 stick out wider than my 16x8 et15? The whole purpose of me buying new rims is for it to look wider in general.

Wider than it already is Your car already looks silly with the offsets it's currently running...and that's coming from someone who likes the whole wheel poke thing.

Offset calculator so you can compare: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Since offsets are in metric, how come wheel widths and other measurements aren't as well? Seems redundant to me. I'm sure there is no logical explanation, just how things are done i suppose.

Thanks for the calculator. So if i get the 18x9.5's w/ et35, they will stick out a little less than 1mm than my 16x8 et15's. I can't seem to make up my mind whether to get 18x9.5's or now i'm thinking about getting 15x10's since i've seen this thread...

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...5-35-15-a.html

I would like to run a tire that wide but it would be unsafe using rally wheels for highway so i've seen 205/45/15's on 15x10.

EDIT2: Ok i found some rims that might work if i want to get 15x10's

http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/stockcar.html

15x10 Silver 4x100 6" Backspace. This hopefully does the trick. Then might lower my car 1-2 inches.

very few 15" tires that'll fit on that size rim unless you plan on slicks. you should go towards 17" and 18" rims, those sizes have more width accomodations. ideal width for you will likely be 10.5" wide et-45.

Yeah, you should probably go wider, I say 10.5. I don't think it's poking that much.

So 18x10.5's? Those won't fit even with fender rolling & trimming lol. I wish though. Then i wouldn't need to lower my car with 18's.

New Konig Feathers on mine. As popular as these wheels are, I've yet to see them on a Clubbie... just as rare with this color combo on a MINI. Saw it on an R52 once.

16.5lbs wheels and no more run flats makes the ride and feel night and day. I didn't roll 30ft before my fiance could tell the difference.

Don't mind the dirty car, I will be detailing it and putting all 4 wheels on for a photo shoot in a few weeks.

I'm afraid I agree with Rally, I think the proportions will be pretty out of whack. But when you get them on please post pictures and prove us wrong! All that matters is how you think they look anyway.

Well here's a pic of the same wheels on a blue R53 to get an idea. I even almost got the same tires as this car! Not sure who's car this is, so I apologize if I'm out of line posting pics of yer car...

Don't think so? Well you can tell me when I get that done. LoL, well I dunno if I will, doing some small vinyl stuff right now before I get that far. Prolly going to swap out for some white "V" stripes soon though.
