Quote: huh, i should consider getting some 17's next year then.
(currently running 16x7.5 comps)
If that is the case, I might want first dibs on your current wheels.

Looks good. Are you running different offsets front to rear?

New pics with the blacked out grill (vinyl) and the Rota Slipstreams (13.5 lbs) mounted with 205/50/16 Nitto NeoGen (21 lbs) for a total of 34.5 lbs. Nice weight reduction from the 25+22=47lbs of the SLites and Euforias and the difference is noticeable in every aspect of driving. I'm very happy with the look and feel of the car now...

Dan-o:

Way cool to see how the wheels match your earlier grill work. I really like this look!

Thanks for the compliment! It's fun to do things on a budget and have the results turn out well. I picked up the used wheels for $85 each, and repainted and clearcoated them since they were scuffed up ($12 for paint and clearcoat). New tires for $74 each. And the blackout grill cost $4.99 for the vinyl material.

I'm doing this now on a set of R91 Bullets. I'm having them media blasted and then I'll fill some rash with Aluminox and sand and prep for paint. I'm trying to decide now what color to go with and also what tires to mount.

Yea! The deep lips should go on the FRONT!

Anyway, those wheels have the same offset anyway. I don't know how they do it. . . http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/wid...widetrack.html

they just change the thickness of the disc area.

TrickleX- I dig those wheels. . . Since they're the same offset, I'd like to see what it would loook like with the rear wheel deep lip all the way around. What do you have to lose?

i think the front lips are deep enough for a FF car on all corners.

wow, like these much better than the black ones before. The red throughout the car just looks perfectly placed....brakes, stripes, mirrors, on the wheels....looks real good!!

And everyone is saying that 18s are too big. Yet more and more people are going the 18" route. It just plain looks better. Nice ride
