Anyone have any pics of lowered Mini's using any of the 16" OEM wheels?

Uhm Harmini, those are SSR Comps ... and last time I checked they weren't OEM.

Here are some of my MINI.

 

What brand of lowering spring did you guys use for you MINI? And did you have
problem with the DSC or any other suspension problems?

 

I have H&R springs.

If I were doing it now, I would get the h-sport springs. They weren't available at the time I did my springs.

 

KW springs here. I like it LOW and the KW have the biggest drop of all of 'em.

davbret: how is the ride with the kw's? to stiff, just right, not enough? i'm not concerned to much about stiffness, and i want to go low. just enough to have the wheels just barely tucked or look like it..

I'm running an evaluation set from KW sent to Madness. The front is a 1.5" drop and the rear is about 1.7". No bumpstopping, no rubbing, no problems. Sure, a bit stiff, but hey, I like that. Also running the Madness rear sway set to it's firmest.

We are looking to potentially bring these to market, but will likely revise the rears to be a 1.4-1.5" drop instead.

since its so tuck with 16s..with 17s would they rub bad?

also how much is the madness sway bar?
