NB: I have no affiliation with the TireRack, aside from being a consumer, and no affiliation with MCO, except being a member.

Anyway, here is my tale: had to return to my hometown on short notice for family emergency over the Memorial Day weekend. Day after arriving, noticed what I have seen by so many others here: the unsightly bulge of my eforia. I was't quite efurious, but a little perturbed. Called several local tire vendors (in NE Ohio), to discover most did not stock and several couldn't even order it. Called MINI in Cleveland. They were very helpful (called the two largest wholesalers they knew). No luck. Called MINI in Pittsburgh. Bingo: (one) fresh eforia for the very reasonable price of $325 (not including mounting and installation). It was Thursday, with a drive scheduled for the Monday holiday. I called the TireRack, who of course had stock, available for next day Fedex, total, including shipping, $186.

So I place my order, and there's a slight bug that night. I call the next day, cause it's 3 and I got no tire. Someone forgot to process my CC. My rep is super friendly, and starts immediately to resolve the issue, which gets sticky cause now Fedex is saying they won't deliver to my parents house on Satuday. After about five calls (to UPS to see if they will, FedEx, and the FedEx regional center, to sweet talk them into doing it), with constant updates to me, everything is patched up, and I get a tire over Memorial Day weekend, and drive back carefree and satisfied.

If anyone doubts the benefits of the TireRack being a sponsor here, fret no more. I was thinking of calling them if I decided to switch out the whole set. I had no idea how great they would be in emergency situations. Kudos to the TireRack folk and thanks to MCO for pointing me to such a superior vendor.

If products and availabilty are equall, I shop for a good price. When the prices are equally I seek the best service. tirerack is willing to go beyond the call of duty for ALL our customers.

I have no affiliation with the Tire Rack either, but so far this year, I have ordered from them a set of Yokohama's for my wife's 323i, and Bridgestones for my car that I don't drive much since I bought the Mini, MB E320. The Yoko's took some time to receive since they were new to the market. This was not a problem because the Tire Rack emailed and called me several times to keep me up to date on my order. It took almost a month to get the Yoko's, but again, with information, I was okay with this. The Tire Rack rep. even asked if I wanted to switch my order. For my Mercedes, tires were ordered, received them in three days, and were on my car that Saturday. I just wish the Tire Rack sold the Falken Azenis since I am leaning that way on my next set for my MCS. BRAVO Tire Rack for great service!
