Will this work/fit on 2003 MCS?

Will 225/35-18 Bridgestone S03 mounted on SSR GT1 fit on a stock 2003 Mini Cooper S? What would be the pluses/minuses of this size? It seems everyone is going with the 215/35-18 but isn't the 225/35-18 closer to stock diameter? Appreciate the input.

Thanks Alex. I see, so that's why you and others recommend the 215. Thanks for the clarification. I will then go for the 215/35 - 18. Now to see what tires are available in this size at Tirerack.........
