This R53 was the flagship of my independent MINI garage.
Astro Black R53 2006 JCW No Sunroof checkmate edition.
56000kms/35000miles
Interior completely in JCW Carbon Fiber genuine parts and Alcantara.
Seats have been swapped to Panther Black Lounge Leather as the clash between Astro Black and Space Blue Checkmate interior was a tad much to bear…. I kept all the Checkmate specific parts in Space blue ( Dash, Door panels, steering wheel and Interior). And i have all the original checkmate livery new in boxes.
I can put it back to checkmate livery and interior or keep it with the current interior with or without the CF and the alcantara.
Same goes to wheels, JCW brakes instead of the current Gen 2 Brembos, and original JCW exhaust instead of the Brand new Dinan that is on it now.
I have almost any MINI wheel model in stock, so wheel choice is not an issue. Of course I still have the flame spokes. The R109 wheels were to my taste, the best looking wheel MINI offered.
I prefer a sale with a NAMer who is willing to come and see it in person and get it reconfigured to his/her taste (or keep as is)

Pre-purchase inspection in any local MINI dealership (there are 3 of them in a radius of 10kms/6miles) of the choice of the buyer is suggested and encouraged.

Re-import, not my first rodeo, done it multiple times. I can assist and make it go flawlessly including door to door delivery.
This is the type of car that's worth dealing with importing hassles, especially if seller is very experienced with the process. If it is truly THE car you are looking for, it's worth a few extra dollars spread over a long-term ownership experience.

It is indeed a very special and unique spec.
To make it more special, I have poured into it 16 years of my knowledge, experience, passion for the R53 and innumerable hours.
Everything is refreshed and serviced: Engine reseal, Clutch, Shifter Cables, Supercharger service, all the pulleys, every suspension component, New brake Calipers all round with new brake hoses and discs and pads, refresh of the cooling circuit (Water pump and flange, thermostat and thermostat housing) New clutch slave cylinder...and much more. Nothing was wrong with any of the aforementioned components and they have all been replaced with Genuine MINI parts.
I wanted it to drive and feel like a new car and it does that so well. No Expenses Spared
I am glad that it is getting noticed and recognized.
