Worked when I pulled it out of my car around 2010. Confirmed with Sirius/XM last week that it can still be activated with the current services.
I don't believe it will work if you have H/K speakers, as this is mounted in the same spot the HK amplifier is.
Does not include the antenna.
$50 shipped to lower 48.
PayPal preferred.

Where does the power source plug in and what’s the input plug look like? I’m half considering buying it but am driving a second gen car… would need to know more.
I am interested, but would need an antenna - where would I find one for a convertible?
I'd suggest contacting a Mini dealership to get part numbers for the Cabrio version of the antenna if one was even made. The part number resource realoem.com does not show one, but one might exist.

This is a factory radio accessory - here is the part number which is listed on the unit but here it is for reference: 84110150535
I know this will work on first gen cars - I bought this as a factory radio add on in 2004, but no idea on second gen since I don't have one.
The plugs on top are proprietary and not standard. See my next post for the photos of the connectors.

I have one of these in the left cubby and HK is in mounted in the right cubby. I found it when I uninstalled the non working iPod adapter in Alex’s mini and it appeared as an option on HU, and worked!
You do need a special cable to use this plus ipod adapter (available from ECS), otherwise the iPod adapter overrides it.
note you will not hear anything, not even the preview channel until you actually activate the module with SiriusXM.
