Description:
2003 Mini Cooper S with John Cooper Works (JCW) package. 6 speed manual. 18” factory alloys. 103,000 miles, 2nd owner since 2005. Always garaged, serviced regularly. Original paintwork and leather seats are in excellent condition. Plenty of meat on tires. Completely stock, the JCW kit is complete as it was when new. Nothing modified. Driven as 3rd car over past 18 years, never in snow.
The good
Body and interior are in exceptional condition for an 18 year old car. Paintwork shines up beautifully. Car had clear film applied to the front of car and rear bumper and although the film is now spider-webbed, it is easily removed and the paint beneath is perfect. Can has one small damage area to the front bumper but otherwise the paint is awesome. Interior equally nice, no seat rips.
The bad PLEASE READ:
Car is losing coolant into the crankcase. Two mechanics diagnosed it as head gasket and that is why the price is so low. Car presently runs, drives and stops very well. Extended driving will result in loss of coolant and eventually water temp climbing. Car has not overheated.
A/C not blowing cold
Headliner beginning to sag behind drivers seat roof
1. Has the car overheated as a result of the blown gasket? Did either mechanic mention the possibility of a warped head?
2. Has the supercharger service been performed?
3. Can you post a photo of the window sticker?
Thanks.

Until Jonny posted the craigslist link, I assumed the car had been sold. Really looking forward to receiving the car and getting it back to full health.
