Is this sig stupid? My MINI isn't called "Little Orphan MINI", just that the line drawing (which is a simplified version I did) looks like Little Orphan Annie in those comic strips (with the all white eyes).

Now that you explained it, it's not so bad. I see what you see. Previously, I missed the reference, but neither am I a comic buff nor an artist. ...but I still don't think it is obvious... Maybe you need to add Sandy or Daddy Warbucks or put Annie behind the wheel?

...to be honest, I didn't click the link for the go-kart you are selling and figured that "go-kart" was the name of your MINI - and that you were selling your MINI - thereby referring to it as an orphan.

 

Since it's winter, I highly doubt someone will want to buy my go-kart until spring, probably should make that a bit clearer. The MINI - as far as I am concerned - supersedes the Go-Kart in all too many ways. The only thing that would separate me from the MINI is, well, not much. I really really really really like it.

I'm not much of a comic fan myself, but maybe I could draw Annie hugging my MINI (gah!#!!@). Or put her behind the wheel...hmm.

 

I think you should have Annie's head and torso poking out of the driver's side window or sunroof, waving. Kinda like an old Rat Fink drawing. Maybe she can be hanging onto a huge stick shift lever, just like Rat Fink!

That would make it cool!

 

Been thinking about doing something like that, have to research the drawing style of the comics.

Uhh, I though this was a totally different thread when I posted this: For those who don't know, I was just fooling around with a simplified version of the line drawing I did of a MINI, when I realized it's headlights looked like Little Orphan Annies eyes (ie, blank). I thought I clicked on the "michiganmini is down" thread.

for UK peeps like me, whats RAT FINK ?? Ive heard of BAT FINK (see below) cartoons over here...is it the same cartoony type ??
