Hey Coen,
If you have the Milltek for the Cabrio, the resonator will rattle against the mid brace. The M7 USS has three braces, it's the long single one.

The Milltek resonator sits further down than some of the other exhausts I've seen. It is also larger than some others. This causes the potential rattling.

When I originally installed my USS, I had about 1/2" clearance from the front of the resonator to the mid bar on the USS. Everything was fine until I took my MINI to the twisties. The movement of the engine on hard turns and hard braking pushed the resonator against the mid brace.

There is a solution w/o having to use spacers.

If you haven't already bought the USS, I suggest looking into the XBrace.

I have the xbrace on a cabrio with the Magnaflow cat back and it clears.

I have a tiny click on the rear OEM brace to exhuast on expansion strips I need to deal with. But the X brace is fine no interference. I like the feel. I even had a fellow I followed on a run a couple weeks ago ask me what suspension mods I had. He said he couldn't believe how little body roll my car was showing. I was surprised it was enought to notice.
