M7 USS and RCB

WOW! I just installed the M7 USS and RCB and the Lil Red Rocket is not the same ole MINI. I just got my 2007 mods installed.....Brembo GTs, rear seat delete, M7 USS, M7 RCB, Spec Stage II clutch and flywheel, and my 2004 S is breathing new life. (the M7 DFIC is on the way and can't wait!!!)

With the USS and RCB the MINI seems "all in one" doing the twisties and also on the bumps. Hard to explain except I can tell a BIG difference in the handling. We got a big MINI run coming in 2 weeks and I will put the MINI thru the paces. I will report back later on more impressions on the M7 goodies!!!!!

What can I do for my 2008 mods? Bueller ?Anyone? lol

The USS does rock, I bought one used but un-installed from a guy at the Dragon.
The Nut-serts are soooooo touchy though. Maybe it's my strong arm but they are so easy to over torque.

I ended up putting a couple of weld beads on the nut-sert washers to the frame to make sure they don't ever spin or come out. Worked great.

Car feels put together now. Seems mostly a product of the front frame piece of the USS more than the other two rearward pieces. I think I'll be likely changing out the allen head bolts for real bolts next time I need to remove any of the braces.
