I'm going to install the JCW suspension on my MCS and I have a few questions.

• What are these funny looking black bumpstops (I guess they're bumpstops) used for? Where/how do they get installed? If you've installed the JCW kit, I guess you'll know what I'm talking about.
• Do I use the front and rear bumpstops from the stock MCS suspension? Do they need to be trimmed down?
• Does anyone have the official MINI install instructions? If they're posted somewhere may I have a link to them? I checked MotoringFile and didn't see it listed.

I think this is what you are looking for. Sorry, I can't help you since I have mines installed at the dealership.

 

jcw install should be identical to any factory strut install. this has been covered a lot on the forums. from what i can tell they parts are identical between stock and the JCW kit. including the bumps, top dampners, etc.
