UUC 19mm rear bar w/ pics

I just ordered the UUC bar Tuesday night and got it tonight. Ripped open the gigantic package and this is what I found:

-solid bar, somewhat heavy
-has regular clamp on stops for bushing placement (one side is grooved the other isn't, which side faces the bushing?)
-brackets and bushing are a general stock item and do NOT include any zerk fittings I can see even though it is advertised as having them

For $159, does it look worth it or not?

Even though it says "Kit includes performance urethane swaybar bushings and replacement bushing brackets with a zerk fitting for easy re-greasing" on UUCs website, I called today and they said that they did in fact "change the design" and it no longer has the grease fittings and that they "need to update the website".

Well UUC I may not have bought the damn thing if I had known that. Great. I guess I will use the teflon tape on the bar and cover the bushings in grease technique.

I assume they're clamps that go on the bar, to prevent the bar from shifting side to side by sliding through the brackets. You just clamp them on near the bracket, so they bump the bracket before the bar slides too far.

GET THE BUSHINGS WITH ZERKS!!!! It'll cost like $15 and will be WELL worth it. Grease 'em every 3-5k or after heavy rains, or the mice in back (squeak squeak) will drive you nuts. I had Energy Suspension bushings on my Mazdaspeed for 15kmiles, they work great, don't wear, and give great feedback but... no matter if they're red or black... they'll squeak if not lubed (teflon tape or no, it just prolongs the inevitable). Talk to Summit Racing, they'll have zerked fittings to your door in a couple days, or get thee to thine local speed shop or auto parts store. Lots easier to do this when you put the bar on than have to redo it later... measure twice cut once... you've been warned.

Those are nice clamps though - I've seen hose clamps used over rubber spacers to accomplish the same thing and those are much beefier - nice touch.

The larger rear bar is near the top of my list of eventual mods too, let us know how it works out!

Well, it got installed yesterday. My father works in a dealership so he took it in and had it done. The tech did NOT install the clamps and it has the regular brackets.

Any one know how hard it is to access the brackets after the bar is installed? I will need to get in there and make some adjustments. I didn't want to drop the whole rear suspension sub frame out in my driveway to do the initial install myself though.

The bar is set on harder and it definitely tightens up the rear suspension and feels less twitchy in turns. It feels like the tendency to steer by lifting off the gas is lessened (which I like). All in all it just makes the car feel better.
