IE Plate help

Okay, I got my towers banged down today. I took both strut assemblys off and on the passenger side I have installed the lowering spring and IE fixed camber plate. Before I go any further, can anybody tell me how the plates are supposed to be installed. If you look at the top of the Irelands, one side is straight, and the other side is curved.

On the passenger side strut assembly, I have the plate with the "curved" side facing the engine, and the straight side towards the outside of the car. Like I said, before I go any further, I want to check with someone who has done this. I'm stuck anyway as the "driver's" side strut assembly, the piston nut seems to be seized. Thanks !!

The flat sides go towards the engine and the curved sides towards the fender. When looking from above the hole in the center is closer to the engine.

For the nut, place a long 6mm hex in the shaft and lay on its side with a block of wood bracing against the allen then apply leverage to the nut.
