Camber plates Helix RDR vs New H-Sport adj.

I'm thinking about installing some front camber plates on my GP. I am considering both the Helix RDR and the new H-Sport adjustables. I hear great things about the Helix plates and the plus side that they have been around for a long time and proven. The only drawback for me is that they will raise the front end a little (!/4-5/16). The new H-Sport plates seem to be very similiar to the Helix but are not suppose to change the ride height. Unfortunately H-Sport have a pretty bad reputation for their previous design.
Being that this is a street driven car I am also concerned with NVH. I am also looking for protection from mushrooming. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, Steve

Steve,
I installed the new H-Sport Adj Camber Plates on my 2003 MCS (which has since been totalled) and I will be installing them on my GP. They worked great on my 2003 MCS. There is more NVH with the adj plates. I notice creaks and groans at low speed while turning and at the same time going over a bump (such as when I back out of my driveway in the morning). Other than that, not much difference. Before I purchased the new camber plates, I discussed the previous Camber Plate problems with the H-Sport representative at Laguna Seca. H-Sport was very aware of the previous problems (mainly with bearings) and stated that is the major reason for the redesign. H-Sport agreed that their new design was very similar to the Helix/RDR design expect that H-Sport has made improvements such as not increasing the ride height.

One of the main reasons I went with the H-Sport plates is to eliminate mushrooming. My 2003 MCS had mushrooming on both towers that I had to fix before installing the H-Sport plates. The H-Sports are design to provide very good protection against mushrooming. The H-Sport mounting plate is very large and thick. The mounting plate is 3/8" (two 3/16 plates welded together).
The installation went fine with very good instructions.

For these reasons, I selected the H-Sport over the Helix/RDR plates.

I've got the Helix plates for over a year now and they're great. I didn't notice much, if any, additional NVH and they are bulletproof. I had mushrooming prior to installing them and I don't have any mushrooming now - driving on these lovely northeastern roads.
