Strut Bar Question

Anyone got the Promini or OMP bar?If so,likes, dislikes and any mod to under hood insulation? I really like the looks of the Promini bar,but i thought i'd ask if anyone had one.My 03' S is 90% street and 10% auto x and hopefully a little track time.Already have 19mm bar, upgraded brakes,cai,15/2% and Borla catback. Thanks for your input,Bill

My 2¢. The lower OMP frame brace does more than the upper strut bar.

Doesn't have the cool factor but if you want function and not bling I'd do this first.

$100 plus shipping and buying 2 new bolts. You'll be very surprised. I was.

GT Tuning makes a nicer piece but it is more expensive.

I have the M7 Under Strut System, and its amazing definetly worth the money. Not so sure what I can say about the ride because I installed coilovers at the same time.

I purchased the OMP lower brace from Rallynuts for about $75 SHIPPED, from the UK no less! My installer reused the existing bolts and from the forums this seems to be what most people do. My car felt great afterwards but unfortunately I can't give a proper review because a couple of other suspension mods went in at the same time (FSD shocks, rear sway bar).

Months later I replaced the OMP frame brace with the M7 USS and experienced a very significant enhancement. I have a cabrio which may make the difference more pronounced. However the OMP frame brace gets consistently positive reviews and at $75 shipped it is a no brainer.

What are the connection points for the OMP lower brace? I can't get the M7 USS for my cabrio, since they're not legal for SCCA autocross, but it is legal to join the lower ends of the struts together.

The OMP might not be legal either. Some people have been calling it a "lower strut brace" but it is really a frame brace. Here are pictures of the OMP and the one from GT Tuning (a stronger, stiffer version that attaches at the same points as the OMP).
