Installing coilovers, what additional bits are needed?

As the subject says, what do I need in addition for a 04 MCS? I'd ideally like to avoid raping the existing assemblies if at all possible (I hate spring compressors). In my limited research, I've found that years < 05 require camber links. Is it required/worth the investment to buy camber plates for the front corners, or should I go with an additional set of the stock front strut tops? I haven't even examined suspension the assemblies in great detail, so if I'm pissing into the wind, please let me know.

Cheers!

When we installed our Megans, they came with built in cambor plates. We also installed rear control arms and front and rear end links.
A 25mm comp swaybar also.

Thanks Scoob -- are you a former/current WRX owner, too?

I'm planning to take a very binary approach to tuning the suspension, so swaybars will come later if needed. I really like the idea of the M7 strut brace in combination with the Helix camber plates .. the additional $700 is the only thing keeping me away from this at the moment.

Any other advice that is relevant to my original question? To end link F/R or not, that is the unanswered question.

You need the end links to take the load off the sway bars.
I will have my partner SRTech chime in on this.

If you go with coilovers, then you will probably need endlinks, front and rear. You can try it without, but I haven't installed any coilovers that didn't end up preloading the swaybars a little. Lower rear control arms are a must if you lower the car because the rear camber will get quite negative without them. Front camber plates are needed to get the most out of your coilovers. A stiffer rear sway bar will probably be necessary at some point to reduce understeer. And if you want to keep your strut towers in good shape, M7 SRPs or Strut Tower Brace are a good choice.
