Hi all:

I would like to know if there's any shops that specialize in MINI/BMW in SF Bay Area. I want to look into getting FSD and camber plate installed and don't know of any reputable shops. Have anyone tried any? Do you have a recommendation? Thanks a lot.

Any good suspension shop can handle the install. Where do you live or work? If you are near any of the shops that M1N1N1M mentioned, they can certainly handle the install. However, that does not mean that only those three can do the install. I had a local suspension shop that I have used in the past for other cars do the install and it went without any problems.

 

A&E Performance in Campbell is really good. They work on both BMW and MINI vehicles. Call and ask for Al at (408) 866-0606.

I have taken my MINI (03 MC, all packages) to Edge Motor Works in Dublin ever since the dealer warranty expired. They are very good and clearly are "enthusiast" when it comes to BMWs and MINIs. I highly reccommend them and usually get things started by talking with Eric (479-0797).

 

Edge knows their Minis! as well as BMWs

They also have a good relationship with Koni (for those FSD questions), and their alignments are competent and precise.

 

If you fell like driving out to Fresno, Steve at Custom MINI Shop is great.

Jacques at Bay Bridge has done a great job on my car.

 

I also recommend Bay Bridge Motors. They installed the FSDs on my car, and several other mods. They are MINI enthusiasts and were the Bay Area host of Randy Webb pulley parties when he was still doing them.

 

No farther than we used to have to drive...
