Which Springs?

Ok I am not planning on tracking but more or less with me putting on the 18's I want to lower the MCS jst a tad to close the gap, what is a good spring for the money? I am not looking to do camber adjustment so the less amount of lowering I guess the better

I had APEX springs from Moss MINI on my 03. I have to buy a set for my 05. I liked the APEX's. It gave a nice stance and tire tuck without scraping the asphalt. And the ride quality didn't really change much. They were a good price too.

I was running with H-Sport on my 06' MCSC for about 300 miles but just took them out. The heavier weight of the cabrio drop the car about 1.5"-2" vs the 1" the manufacturere states on the regular MCS. That was a bit too low for me. Ride was very good, not too stiff. They're up for sale if you're interested.

I paid $215 for them @ Helix. However, I understand they're a bit used. If you're anywhere north of $160 (you pay for shipping) they're yours.

I'd suggest H-Sport springs or m7 springs (drops a little more)... BTW, what 18s do you have? Post pics!

I agree I think you will have rubbing issues with most lowering sprngs ours included. You are going to have to run a seriously low profile tire if you drop the car much at all.Good luck ,

Here is the wheels, I know there are a couple different height on springs and one is only .5" which to me is not worth it but I am looking for about an inch! What do you guys think?

1 inch drop you say? H-Sports give an even 1 inch drop. That's what I'd recommend, looks like you have enough clearance, it shouldn't rub. But then again, I'm no expert.

P.S: I don't mean to hi-jack the thread and this might be of use to Kendel as well. How much have you all paid for labor on a spring install?

I have a friend that owns a BIG Tires/wheels and car audio shop and he said he would install for $100-150 and the h-sport sounds good

Oh my. You must have good dental fillings and a strong prostate to drive on those low profiles! They sure look nice though.

Those low pro's dont ride half as rough as those stinking run flats!

Yeah, the runflats are like driving a chuck wagon with wooden wheels!

Anyone running M7 springs on stock shocks? I'd like the ~1 inch drop as well, but I'm looking for a slightly softer ride (until you put a bit of stress on 'em, when I want 'em to tighten up)... the progressive-rate M7 springs sound like just the thing...

The m7 springs offer more than a 1" drop, 1.3" respectively. The H-Sports offer a 1" drop though.
