I'm looking at my strut towers and I can see no mushrooming. Is this an Obvious deformity once it occurs? Maybe mine aren't damaged yet. Should I put on the Mini maddness or M7's before it happens, as a prevention?
Does anyone have a photo of the damaged strut tower?

Hi Ricky, I want to fabricate my own clamp like you. What type of adapter nut did you use for the clamp? Is that an oil removal socket that you used for the top of the clamp?
