Squeeeeeeeky spring

Installed double adjustable Konis on my MCS, and now the drivers side rear spring squeaks like a mouse being sodomized. If you wack the spring with a mallet to move it a bit on the perch, the sound goes away for a while. Nothing wrong with the spring, checked all the bolts, and if I have a helper gently bounce the car to make the squeak, I can grab the coil to silence it. Any suggestions other than turning up the stereo?

the source of the squeak is between the spring and top mount bushing?

did you try a little lube between there? might want to even wrap the
spring with teflon tape where it meets the mount..might help.

Yep, you should always use a light coat of lithium (white grease) when installing springs. Will last forever, even in rainy climates.
